Most recently, she worked at HarperCollins Publishers as the Head of Talent & Audience Development, where she served on the publishing board and developed books that went on to become instant Sunday Times Bestsellers. In 2020, she was named a Bookseller Rising Star, and the following year she was listed as one of the 150 most influential people in UK publishing.

In 2022, Nancy transitioned into consulting to further pursue her vision of democratising storytelling. Her projects include:

  • Co-curating the UK’s largest celebration of contemporary African literature in partnership with the British Library

  • Serving on the editorial board of Bloomsbury Publishing’s latest imprint

  • Leading storytelling projects with companies including Meta, Twitter, and Spotify.

Her work has been featured in The Guardian, the BBC, HuffPost, and Harper’s Bazaar, and she recently delivered a keynote on the future of cultural storytelling at Cambridge University.

Before moving into publishing, Nancy started her career with the African Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, and led strategic partnerships at TEDxEuston. She holds an MSc in Leadership and Development from King's College London, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Queen Mary, University of London.
